NFT gaming industry on Tezos blockchain, DOGAMÍ officially secured $500,000 funding from the Tezos Foundation. Furthermore, the funding provided by the foundation enables Tezos to acquire an equity stake in the DOGAMI ecosystem.
The collaboration between DOGAMÍ and the Tezos Foundation enables the DOGAMÍ team to strengthen their blockchain and ecosystem. As a result, the network was able to attract investors globally which positions the network’s native token — $DOGA — for mass adoption.
Roman Schnider, President of the Tezos Foundation Council explained,

In terms of technology, DOGAMÍ visualizes metaverse as a universe where players can raise and train virtual pets. Hence, allowing players to interact with the other players in the network’s metaverse seamlessly. The $DOGA token will play a big role in this digital space called Petaverse. It can also be used to pay NFT, accessories, and consumables in the DOGAMÍ network.
